Healing with Trauma-Informed Somatic Practices

I Am Spirit Intro: Trauma can be so loud. It can easily drown out or disconnect us from
spirit, but our spirit can become stronger. Colonial ways of being teach us that the body
needs to be dominated. There is another way; one that helps us to come back into
relationship with the body and restore balance and wisdom between our mind, body,
emotions and spirit. In this interactive workshop we will explore your stress response
system through western and 5 elements lens, how trauma and burnout occur in our
nervous system, some of the implications of generational trauma, and what we can do
about it. In the second half you will relax into the healing power of vibration with tuning
fork and/or acupuncture(optional) treatment.
