In this workshop, Matt will take you on a science-backed journey through the ins and
outs of the breath. Your breath is THE foundational component for a regulated nervous
system and your ability to maintain states of holistic equanimity no matter what life
throws your way. Using his experiential knowledge base from a unique combination of
ancient Yoga and modern Breathwork modalities, Matt will teach you practices that
cultivate an experience of health, wholeness, love and connection, so you can become
the best version of yourself. Participants will leave Matt’s workshop with mechanistic
knowledge and various tried and true techniques that will serve them for the rest of their
life. You will learn: -How to assess your breathing. -How the breathing process works. -
How oxygen is utilized in your body and how to ensure oxygen is being utilized
efficiently for optimal health. -How to develop proper breathing mechanics, which for
many have been compromised due to the stress of our modern lifestyles. -How the
breath and the nervous system are intimately linked. -How the breath can be used to
consciously control your autonomic nervous system. -How to use the breath to alter
your consciousness and reach deep meditative, ecstatic, and psychedelic states. -How
to perform a unique mix of ancient yogic and modern breathwork techniques in order to
experience desirable physical states of health and contentment, greater focus and
attention in the mind, and greater endurance, athletic, and general performance in your
day to day life.
