The Creation Story or Long Story is the stabilization of the way K’sê Mantô intended His people to be: the balance of our Being is a part of this stability that looks at the Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual quadrants.

This session will show you how to make and sew mini moccasins. It also provides skills in beading your finished product.

This presentation will journey through three phases of our collective experience. It focuses on our Cree worldview, traditions, values, beliefs and language that have been passed down to us. Secondly, there will be a brief review of the European influence on our lives and, finally, where we are today and how we can continue to practice what has been passed down to us by our elders.

Participants will learn the basic beading stitches and tap into their creative heART, while beading a small beaded pin.

This workshop is a hands-on art project designed to identify barriers and reconnect participants with their innate capacity to partner with Creator through the work of their hands.
